Magicard’s popular HoloKote system gets an important update with the 600 printer – you can now choose from 10 standard designs pre-loaded into the printer, and create up to 10 Custom HoloKote designs too!
With Custom HoloKote you can create a watermark-like design that is unique to your organization, making it easier to spot authentic cards.
Data Security – Digital Shredding
You might already by shredding your printer ribbons to protect your cardholder data – but are you digitally shredding it too? When you send a print job to your card printer a digital file and record of that print job is created. With the Magicard 600, your printer will now automatically fragment that data after it is used so it can no longer be read.
Printer Security – Security Scans
Protecting your printer from threats is also an important part of card program security. The Magicard 600 runs security scans using Nessus Pro, a comprehensive vulnerability assessment tool, and will regularly update the printer’s software as needed.
