This screen can display the card you’re currently printing, how many prints you have left on the ribbon, run diagnostics, display error messages, and more.
Updated Magicard HoloKote Technology
HoloKote technology is Magicard’s way to adding visual security to your cards, allowing you to print a watermark across cards so you can spot authentic cards at a glance.
The Ultima is a reverse transfer printer, so it cannot use the overlay panel to create HoloKote designs like other Magicard printers. Instead, it uses a specialized ribbon with a Secure (“S”) panel to print the HoloKote.
New with the Ultima, you can print fluorescent HoloKote designs for even more visual security!
The Magicard Ultima comes with 10 HoloKote designs pre-loaded into the printer driver, or you can design your own Custom HoloKote designs.
