The Ultima ID card printer comes with built-in HoloKote, Magicard's unique system that allows you to print a watermark across your cards. This is the first reverse transfer printer to use HoloKote technology, making it easy to authentic cards and harder to tamper with or duplicate cards.

Unlike dye sublimation printers, a reverse transfer printer like the Ultima needs to use a specialized Secure ribbon with an added "S" secure panel to print HoloKote designs. And new to the HoloKote on the Ultima, you can now print fluorescent designs for added security.

Choose from ten standard designs that come pre-loaded into the printer driver. The Ultima also has the option for Custom HoloKote, allowing your organization to create a new HoloKote design unique to your program. Add up to 10 Custom HoloKote designs (one Custom HoloKote is included free with purchase).

The Magicard Ultima features a large, full color touch screen, making the Ultima incredibly easy to use. With this screen you can see what design you're currently printing and where in the printing process you are, how many prints are left on your ribbon so you can order more, easily run diagnostics and see any error messages, access the printer menu, and more.
