Magicard HoloKote, Custom HoloKoteThe 600 ID card printer comes with built-in HoloKote, Magicard's unique system that allows you to print a watermark across your cards. This makes it easier to identify authentic cards and harder to tamper with or duplicate cards.
Choose from ten standard designs that come pre-loaded into the printer driver.
The 600 also has the option for Custom HoloKote, allowing your organization to create a new HoloKote design unique to your program. Add up to 10 Custom HoloKote designs (one Custom HoloKote is included free with purchase).
Magicard 600 Security FeaturesNew to the Magicard 600, your printer now comes with digital shredding. Every time you send a print job to your card printer, it creates a digital file – with digital shredding, each print job is fragmented after use so your printer cannot be used to see what has been printed. This stops people from using your printer to access your cardholder database.
To protect the printer from outside threats the Magicard 600 runs security scans with Nessus Pro, a comprehensive vulnerability assessment tool, and regularly updates the printer's software and system.
