With the Fargo DTC1500XE ID card printer you can add a custom watermark to your cards - and it requires no upgrades, extra materials, or added costs!

Watermarks are an important visual security feature that makes it easier to spot your cards and deter fake cards or tampering with cards. Your custom watermark can be your business name, logo, or any unique design you want to use.

Another important and built-in security features in the DTC1500XE printer is the resin data scamble.

When you print a card, it leaves a reverse image or negative of your design in the used ribbon (you can look at a used ribbon you have right now and see this). Unless you are shredding old ribbons or masking the data, someone could see your card program information by looking at ribbons you toss out!

To help protect your information, the DTC1500XE printer will automatically scramble the black resin K panel of your ribbons (since most of the sensitive data on a card is the printed text) so it cannot be read.
