Your AlphaCard Pilot comes equipped with free AlphaGuard – a unique printing technology that allows you to print a holographic-like watermark image over your cards, using no additional materials or upgrades! This helps to prevent counterfeiting of fake cards, card tampering to alter cardholder data, and makes it easier to authenticate real cards.
Rewritable Card Technology
In addition to the traditional printing process, you can print rewritable cards with the AlphaCard Pilot. Using specialized rewritable cards that are made from temperature-sensitive materials, you can print on, erase, and reprint each card up to 500 times to save on supplies. Please note that rewritable cards are only available in blue or black, and do monochrome printing only.
