The Business Server edition is designed to be installed on a server, with multiple computers all printing to the same ID card printer.

If you need to print ID badges and the front desk takes their information, security takes their photo, and another employee prints their badge and all three users need to access the software and database at the same time throughout the day, Business Server will help you streamline the work process.
The Business Server edition is only available for the Standard, Professional, and Elite:
- AlphaCard ID Suite Standard: for medium to large organizations
- AlphaCard ID Suite Professional: MS SQL, MySQL, SQLite, Oracle, ODBC/OLE connectivity
- AlphaCard ID Suite Elite: advanced security, connect multiple external databases
Using Business Server SoftwareAlphaCard ID Suite Business Server comes with five licenses. The Business Server edition allows the software to be installed on an unlimited number of computers and used on five computers concurrently. Additional licenses can be purchased in bundles of five to allow the software to be used simultaneously on more than five computers.
When using the Business Server, users can either share one central database with all the cardholder information or have individual databases saved locally on each computer.
System RequirementsAlphaCard ID Suite Business Server can be used with all PVC card printers. AlphaCard ID Suite is not currently supported on Tablets or Surfaces. Please call with questions regarding compatibility with any hardware platforms not mentioned here.
System requirements: 32 or 64 bit Windows Operating System (Windows 7, 8, 10), Server Operating System (Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012). Explorer 6 or higher, Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher, dual core processor, 1 GB of free internal memory (32 bit) or 2 GB of free internal memory (64 bit), 200 MB of free disk space, and an internet connection for automatic activation and online help files.
