How Standalone Lamination Works
The Evolis Lamination Unit, when used as a standalone lamination unit, is a manual hand-feed laminator. You insert one card at a time into the unit using the card feed slot.
You can choose from a wide range of lamination films, in both standard 600 yield and 12000 high yield rolls. Options include:
- Clear lamination film, 0.5mil and 1.0mil thick
- Holographic lamination film, 0.6mil and 1.0mil thick
- Cutout smart cards lamination film, 0.5mil and 1.0mil thick
- Dual-sided lamination film
This lamination unit is compatible with these types of plastic ID cards in standard CR80 30mil size:
- PVC cards
- Composite PVC cards
- PET cards
- Polycarbonate cards
- Special varnished cards
