The Zebra 800012-944 YMCKKI Color Ribbon for Zebra ZXP Series 8 Card Printer is able to produce 415 dual-sided full color ID cards.

Zebra 800012-944 YMCKI ribbons combine standard full color printing (YMCK) with an Inhibitor panel (I) that allows cards with a surface foil on the front, or signature panel on the back to be printed. The Inhibitor Panel prevents the Zebra ZXP retransfer film from adhering to magnetic stripe, smart card chip, signature panel or surface foil areas. 

Full color can be printed on the front of the card with Zebra ZXP 800012-944 ribbon, while only black images or text can be printed on the card back.

All Zebra ZXP color ribbons must be used in conjunction with the 800012-601 Zebra Retransfer Film. The Zebra ZXP Series 8 Retransfer card printer uses a two-step process to print a high-resolution reverse image directly to a clear transfer overlay, then uses heat and pressure to transfer the image and the overlay onto an ID card. 

Retransfer delivers high print quality, the ability to print on uneven card surfaces such as smart cards, and on non-PVC cards, for a more durable and abrasion-resistant card that lasts longer than traditional materials which gives your ID cards.
